As of October 1, 2017, the U.S. authorities have published the new, more user-friendly website for reviewing and registering with all Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) for the U.S. Since then, the original Global Entry Enrollment System website for Global Entry participants is no longer accessible. Visitors to this page will automatically be forwarded to the new TTP website.
Even at first glance, the new Trusted Traveler Program website keeps what it promises. The site convinces with a much friendlier user interface as well as with short, comprehensible informative texts, graphics and further links. The structured website adapts itself to the mainstream of government websites in the U.S. and offers various support options.
The new website facilitates the enrollment and membership management for the Trusted Traveler Programs, such as the following:
Due to the continuously increasing number of participants, a user-friendly platform became more important not only for future program members, but also for the extension of current memberships or updating personal information.

It is interesting to note that, in addition to an overview of the four Trusted Traveler Programs (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST), the country-specific details relevant to Global Entry as well as an interactive program selector are also presented. No matter for which program a traveler decides, in the section "How Enrollment Works", the applicant is guided through the process in three steps:
In addition to the new look, the website also offers an improved functionality and more navigation options. Some of these new and improved features include:
Already confirmed Global Entry members who are in possession of a PASS ID or membership number can carry out the transfer of their information into the new TTP system under "Manage my Membership". The Global Entry member will be forwarded to the "Login.gov" website. A new account is then created with the confirmation of the e-mail address and the telephone number.
Tip: The GOES login data are invalid and no longer relevant for the new system.
Within the customer account "Login.gov", the personal information is now confirmed again and the membership number is queried. The membership number is used to transfer all application information to the new system. Once this step is completed, Global Entry members can log into their account via the new TTP website and keep their personal information and documents up-to-date.
Global Entry candidates, people who are "conditionally approved", can transfer their data to the new system as well. The new account must be created before the upcoming interview date, so that all subsequent application steps or inquiries by the CBP (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) can be processed via the TTP system.
Current Global Entry applicants who are only in possession of a GOES ID are also asked to create a new account via "Login.gov". Depending on the status of their current application, the applicants can then proceed to the next point of their application process by clicking the "Manage my Application" button.
